Since my very first winter in Göteborg, in 2013, I have enjoyed going to the Christmas market in the attraction park Liseberg. And even if this year I didn’t have time as my schedule was quite crazy, I wanted to share with you this piece of Swedish Christmas I love so much.
Liseberg is an attraction park, situated literally in the middle of the city, close to Körsvägen, one of the main places.
It is accessible easily by tram (Körsvägen tram 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 13 and Liseberg tram 13) and buses (honestly a lot of them).
Premiering for the Winter Season the 18th of November, the park is then open to public every weekend in November and most of the days in December (but Christmas and New Year) until the end of the months.
The entrance is 100 SEK and it include the access to a Christmas market, a medieval Christmas market, a small farm zoo and an ice show, this year on the theme of the Nutcracker.
Some attractions are also open during this period if you are not afraid of freezing but you will have to pay with their ticket system (rides cost 1 to 4 tickets).
I have always been on the market on the coldest days so I warmly advice you to put extra layers and to get close to the fire places present in the park.
And if you are curious take the chance to try a reindeer kebab =).

Have a fun time in Liseberg !
