Lights in Alingsås

lights
This Saturday I went to Alingsås with the iSPACE group (photography group). Apparently, this whole town turns into a big light exposition every year, and a lot of light designers work on the creation of this big route around the village. Here in the map you can see how it is actually around the entire town!
The pictures of it can talk by themselves about how impressive some parts are:

Impressive reflexes of the lights in the water.
Impressive reflections of the lights in the water.
Here it seems that the trees are on fire!

There were also weird things like these lamps under a bridge.

Or these dresses that were in the backyards of the houses.

And you could even touch the light!

The lights are on from the 25th of September to 1st of November, so you still have some days to go and visit it! If not, every year they come again with new amazing inventions and designs!

How to go: Charge money in your västtrafik card and take the train that leaves from platform 1 or 2 at Centralstation. They leave quite often, and it is only 40 minutes ride.
When to go: My recommendation is to arrive there around 18-19h when the sun is already set and you can enjoy the lights properly. The trains keep working at night to come back, so that is not a problem to worry about.
Last recommendations: Wear good and warm clothes! It is really cold there, as you are almost all the time near a river or near a big lake.
