Hej all you current, new, and international students…here are some upcoming activities happening in Gothenburg that you might not want to miss…ha det gott! 😉

24/1 Halsodagarna – All Day Event

Every year on the last weekend in January, from Thursday to Sunday, the theme HEALTH in central Gothenburg in Nordstan shopping malls.On a large surface, behind the tourist office, arranged Health Festival with a range of all that is offered in Gothenburg and its vicinity. in 40 booths you can find everything you need for a healthy life. It is about three important factors that must be in balance.Sleep / Rest – Diet / Nutrition – Exercise / Motion.The scene offers a variety of performances and shows.On Health Days happening is always something new. Be a healthy student and check it out!

31/1 Opening night of INTERNATIONAL THURSDAY CLUB 9pm-3am

INTERNATIONAL THURSDAY CLUB together with MUSIC IS MY LIFE will be bigger than HANDELS, ANDRA LANGATAN, INTERNATIONAL CORNER, or any other STUDENT HOT SPOT!  There will be GIVE AWAYS and surprises, INTERNATIONAL atmosphere and HAPPY HOUR with student and prices FREE BUFFET. Entertainment Events DJs will play HOUSE and ensure AN EXPLOSIVE dance floor.

1/2 Club Love Tip – Reggae Concert 10pm-3am

Want to try something different? Check out this 8-piece band live on stage: The Party! from Jönköping. This is the Release party for their new album “Cultural” released January 30th! A new Swedish reggae bands: The Party. With influences from the current reggae scene in Sweden Party.

7/2 Afterwork with Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra! – 5pm

The GOTHENBURG SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA welcomes you to the Concert hall. It starts with an introduction to the house and the orchestra and is followed by BRAHMS symphony no2 with conductor Susanna Mälkki. Mingle and quiz.

12/2 Sustainability Day – 12pm – 6pm

Join in and listen to this year’s environmental hero, genus photographer, the environmental capitalist and many others. Experience a day filled to the brim with inspiration, seminars and a large exhibition about sustainability.

19/2 Play “Djävlar på Hjul” – 7pm

Come to the preview of the play DJÄVLAR PÅ HJUL (Devils on wheel) – a hallucinatory road trip about the sport Roller Derby. Get your ticket at the Gothenburg City Theatre.

Students are welcome to morning yoga at The Röhsska Museum, with an instructor, surrounded by ancient Chinese ceramics. They will even treat you to a light breakfast after the yoga session. Free Food!!
