Today’s young people have shown great interest in games and to “save the world”.What if we could use games to help save the world? This pilot project investigatesthe possibility of an urban scale.
The project aims to develop Mistra Urban Futures in terms of processes and tools to support communication and learning. But also to establish an interface that can act as a platform for cross-border meetings in the form of games and simulations. It also aims to link existing and future urban games and simulations that have arelevance to the topic and produce new games and visualizations. An additional purpose is to provide the players and target groups with rich images of the city and with ideas about urban development and to generate profit from gaming activitiesthat can be understood and used by others.
