Swedish semla

This Tuesday is known in Sweden as Fat Tuesday. It’s a day when you definitely have to try semla. Originally, semla was the last festive food before Lent. However, right now it has become a traditional dessert every Tuesday between Fat Tuesday and Easter.

You could buy semla in almost every shop, or, if you’re brave enough or either good in cooking, here is a recipe to make semlor yourself:
