This year the Annual Lecture on Global Week was devoted to Global Collaboration and was given by Thorvald Stoltenberg, the former Norwegian Minister of Defense and Minister of Foreign Affairs. He was also the Norwegian ambassador to the UN and the President of the Norwegian Red Cross. Stoltenberg is the father of Norway’s Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg.
The lecture was brilliant and inspiring.
Some quotations from the speech that I, personally, have found absolutely amazing: simple, but so wise at the same time.
You should accept the differences between people as otherwise you’ll destroy your own life.
Hope is almost as important as life itself.
I mean what I hope.
